San Blas – 100% carribean feeling

Das San Blas Archipel in Panama ist jeden Aufwand wert – ein fantastisches  Karibik-Feeling, zu 100%.
Wir haben mit einem Speedboot vom Festland zu Perro Island übergesetzt, welches von einem Kuna-Eingeborenen gefahren wurde.
Das Kuna – Land wird von den Kunas selbst verwaltet.  Sie „regieren“ das Land eigenständig und Besucher müssen Eintritt zahlen, wenn Sie das Land betreten wollen.

The San Blas archiple in Panama was worth every effort we took – fantastic and 100% carribean feeling.
We set over to Perro island by a speedboat that was driven by a Kuna indegenious. The Kuna territory is self governed  by the Kunas. They rule and protect their land and visitors have to pay when entering.

Panama City: Punta Pacifica „Paitilla“

One of the most remarable places in Panama City is the „Punta Pacifica“ in the Paitilla quater.
A huge amount of skyscrapers are crowded on small area – every building with it´s own architecture.
The Trump Tower is also located there as well as various other hotels and appartement buildings.
There was heavy construction works going on – they will be finished next year or even later.

Still a interesting place to walk (if possible).

Panama City: Panama Viejo

Panama Viejo ist die erste Gründung von Panama City – einige Kilometer von Casco Viejo entfernt.
Einige interessante Bilder der  Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción sind ebenfalls darunter.

Wir haben den Flash-Controller  überarbeitet, um besseren Zugriff mit Mobilgeräten zu ermöglichen. Allerdings für Android – Geräte.

Panama Viejo is the first foundation of  Panama City – some kilometers away from the Casco Viejo.
Also some interesting views from the Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción.

We have rewritten the Flash-Controller to have better access with mobiles, Androids though.

Panama Canal – Miraflores Locks

Ein Rundgang durch die Miraflores Locks des Panama Canals.
Wir hatten das große Glück eine besondere Führung zu bekommen, die uns auf und in die Schleuse gebracht hat. Das alte Kontrollsystem, analog, und das neue System, natürlich voll computerisiert ebenso wie die Schleusenkammern und den Kontrollturm uvm.

We were lucky to get a very special tour that brought us deep into the locks.
The old analog system, the new computerized system and the controll-tower.

Rooftop views……

Übersicht über Panama City von einem Dach.
Mit ein wenig Glück konnten wir einen Blick auf die Stadt und den Pacific von einem Dach erstellen. Die Hitze hatte schon Blasen auf dem
Asphalt geworfen, welche unter unseren Tritten platzen.
Trotzdem war das Monopod nicht voll ausgezogen zu halten – es war viel zu windig dort oben.

Schön zu sehen die Punta Pacifica, den Corridor der Sur und die Costa del Este.

We where lucky to take theses shots from a rooftop with a view over Panama City. The asfalt was already bubbeling and the
bubbles were  bursting under our feet.
But is was not possible to extract the monopod to the max – it was to windy.

Nice to see the Punta Pacifica, the Corridor der Sur and  the Costa del Este.
